About the course

Welcome to the ScopeIT Education online course: App Coding (Swift). This course features the use of the online tool Xcode and features the programming language called ‘Swift’. This tool is used to introduce students to app development for Apple devices and (along with the clunkier and much older language for iOS devices - Objective-C) is what app developers use today. Where Objective-C is quite a difficult language to learn and work with, Swift is much easier to read, much easier to learn and requires comparatively less code when creating programs.

Swift is a modern programming language developed by Apple for building applications across iOS and other Apple platforms. It allows developers to create interactive and fully functional apps using structured, text-based code.
