About the course

Welcome to the ScopeIT Education online course: Google Drive: Basics. This course is designed as an overview of Google Drive as a whole. A number of our services utilise the suite of Google Applications within Google Drive and as such, it is important that you have a basic understanding of what it is, how it works and what it is for. Ultimately, Google Drive is a file storage and synchronisation service operated by Google. It allows users to store files in the cloud, synchronize files across devices, and share files. Google Drive encompasses a large office suite comprising of apps such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Maps and others. We use this tool as it is a fantastic, cloud-based collaborative resource with endless possibilities and uses.
